TELEVISION star Martin Clunes opened the North Aston fete on Saturday.
The Doc Martin star had been invited by a friend who lives in the village. He said: “It is a gorgeous village and this fete is lovely. I will have to have a go at Aunt Sally while I’m here.”
The fete, held on the village green for the past 10 years, usually attracts around 400 people but this year attracted double that number.
As well as Aunt Sally there was hoop-la, whack-the-rat and a collection of classic cars.
