Cases heard recently at magistrates' courts in Oxfordshire:
Oxford
- Stuart Gallacher, 47, of Pike Terrace, Oxford, admitted breaching his Antisocial Behaviour Order by drinking in public, being drunk in public and possessing alcohol in public in St Aldate’s, Oxford, on June 8. Fined £40, ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
- Ian Wylie, 35, of Old Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat from BP in Oxford on May 6. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £40 costs and £20 compensation.
- Jose Phillips, 50, of no fixed address, was convicted of being drunk and disorderly in St Aldate’s Church, Oxford, on March 14. Admitted two counts of failing to surrender to court bail on May 1 and June 21 and failing to comply with a police officer’s direction not to consume alcohol in a public place, Shirelake Close, Oxford, on June 7. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
Banbury
- Pawel Berent, 24, of High Street, Burford, admitted stealing an Apple iPhone in Witney on March 23. Fined £175, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
