People convicted of offences at magistrates' courts in Oxfordshire recently:

Keith Greenwell, 67, of Southcombe Cottages, Chipping Norton, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Chipping Norton on June 30, 2011. Fined £120, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs. Given a one-year restraining order.

Piotr Ciupa, 28, of Elm Park Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with a direction to leave Banbury High Street until the following day on May 13. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

David Dean, 62, of Chapel Lane, Balscote, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Stratford Road, Wroxton, on May 18. Had 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £350, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Paul Dorney, 26, of Cromwell Road, Banbury, admitted criminally damaging a back door valued at £900 in Banbury on March 28. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £50 costs and £450 compensation.

Peter Durman, of Kilross Road, Feltham, Middlesex, admitted conveying a prohibited article, namely a mobile phone, in or out of prison at Bullingdon Prison in Bicester on an unknown date. Given a three-month prison sentence, suspended for a year, with 120 hours’ unpaid work. Also told to pay £40 costs.

Karl Kuhne, 33, of Jerome Way, Shipton-on-Cherwell, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Bicester on April 30. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Benjamin O’Donovan, 25, of Park Road, Banbury, admitted shoplifting two bottles of Stella Artois beer from Co-op in Banbury on May 16. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £40 costs.

Dean Murray, 23, of Edinburgh Way, Banbury, admitted fraud by false representation by using a bank card belonging to Chloe Demeis in Banbury between September 19 and 28. Given six months’ supervision and told to attend a training programme for five days. Also told to pay £406.26 compensation.

Shane Faulkner, 36, of Westfield Road, Witney, admitted criminally damaging a window and door on a Fiat car, stealing a phone charger and criminally damaging a window of a Peugeot car in Eynsham on September 3. Given 190 hours’ unpaid work and told to attend the Thinking Skills programme for 19 days. Also told to pay £500 compensation and £250 costs.

Simon Whitmore, 39, of Lancut Road, Witney, admitted assaulting a police constable in Witney on August 20. Fined £270, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael Leslie, 30, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted trespassing in East Oxford Conservative Club with intent to steal on December 11 last year. Given one-year community order with drug rehabilitation requirement and supervision and ordered to pay £270 compensation.

Michelle Manly, 19, of Delapre Drive, Banbury, admitted criminal damage by destroying a glass door to the value of £250 belonging to Charter Housing on May 29. Given an eight-week community order with curfew between 8pm and 7am.

Cyril Field, 67, of Waynflete Road, Barton, Oxford, admitted harassment between March 22 and May 15. Given an indefinite restraining order, fined £250 and ordered to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Hodijah Samuels, 21, of Hollow Way, Cowley, admitted possessing cannabis on March 20 in Oxford. Given a six- month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs. The cannabis was also ordered to be destroyed.

Thomas Richards, 25, of Bourton Close, Witney, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on December 31 in Oxford. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 victims’ surcharge.

Jacob Chambers, 23, of Salesian Gardens, Oxford, admitted damaging glass doors on a bookcase to the value of £60 on April 8 in Oxford. Fined £120, and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, £60 compensation and £85 costs.

Craig Sinclair, 19, of Normandy Crescent, Cowley, Oxford, admitted drink-driving a BMW in Between Towns Road, Oxford, on April 8 with 103 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg. Fined £350 and ordered to pay victims’ surcharge of £15 and £85 costs. Banned from driving for two years.

Rauni Barros, 20, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance in Abingdon Road on January 22. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six penalty points.

Dean Gunning, 21, of Gaveston Road, Harwell, admitted driving without insurance and without a licence in Wantage Road, Didcot, on August 13. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £35 costs. Given six penalty points.

Wayne Hickman, 37, of Balmoral Way, Rowley Regis, West Midlands, admitted shoplifting an aluminium cut hair storage container valued at £240 from the Barber Shop in Didcot on July 31. Fined £185, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs. Told to pay £298 compensation.

David Martins Ferreira, 22, of Westlands Drive, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Park End Street, Oxford, on May 13. Given a three-month conditional discharge.

Abdul Ali, 25, of Marlborough Road, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Oxford on December 17.

Given 180 hours’ unpaid work plus £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Kevin Graham, 39, of Morton Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on April 5. Also admitted failing to surrender to court bail on May 28. Banned from driving for four months and given 180 hours’ unpaid work.
