Hartwell Land Rover in Cumnor is fielding a hat-trick of Special Edition vehicles based on the Freelander, Discovery and Defender models.

Dealer principal Robin Davis said: “These new Special Editions bring added depth to our line-up and present our customers with more choice when they are considering their options.”

Available in Fuji White, Santorini Black or the all-new Firenze Red, the Freelander 2 SD4 Sport is distinguished by a sophisticated black finish to the grille, side vents and rear spoiler – whilst a new body styling kit (fitted as standard) creates a more aggressive profile to the front corners.

Also featuring 19” Shadow Chrome alloy wheels, body coloured door handles and mirror caps, the Freelander 2 Sport is powered by the 190PS diesel engine – with automatic transmission – which achieves 0-60mph in just 8.7 seconds and a top speed of 118mph.

The new features complementing the Discovery design on the Special Edition SDV6 'Landmark' include: Santorini Black grille vanes, 20” 5-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels (with gloss black painted finish) and Satin Black extended roof rails – all fitted as standard.

Inside, the 'Landmark' features a high-specification Taurus interior leather available in either Ebony or Ivory colour schemes. All variants come with Land Rover’s award-winning Terrain ResponseTM system and feature the 3.0 litre SDV6 twin turbo diesel engine.

Mr Davis added: “The Freelander 2 Sport Special Edition features a more dramatic and imposing exterior, coupled with a well-equipped yet sporty interior. Whilst the Landmark gives the Discovery 4 a more sophisticated appearance and guarantees the vehicle’s renowned standards of comfort inside the cabin."

To complete the Special Edition line-up, the Defender X-Tech is based upon a 90 Hard Top model, styled in Zermatt Silver and enhanced by a contrasting Santorini Black finish to the roof and wheel arches, as well as unique gloss black 16” Saw Tooth alloy wheels.

“The X-Tech Special Edition combines a distinctive raw and edgy style not seen in other derivatives of the vehicle - with the class-leading all terrain capabilities that Defender drivers expect. Powered by the 2.4 litre common-rail diesel engine, it boasts 360Nm torque for effortless towing and enhanced road performance,” said Mr Davis.

All three Special Edition vehicles are now available at Hartwell Land Rover with the Freelander 2 SD4 Sport priced from £33,945, the Discovery 4 SDV6 'Landmark' from £46,945 and the Defender X-Tech from £24,995.
