The River Thames in Oxford was this evening put on flood watch.
The alert - the lowest issued by the Environment Agency - covers the river and its tributaries in the Oxford area, including areas between Wolvercote down to and including Radley.
Earlier, two rivers, the Evenlode and Glyme, were taken off flood watch.
Rivers that still remain on flood watch, include the River Thames from Buscot down to Kings Lock, above Oxford, including Kelmscott, Radcot, Lower Bampton, Chimney, Newbridge, Northmoor, Stanton Harcourt, Bablockhythe and caravan park, Eynsham, Swinford and Yarnton.
Also on alert is the catchment of the River Ray and its tributaries from near Shipton Lee to Islip, including Ludgershall, Blackthorn, Murcott, Wendlebury and Oddington.
A flood watch was also in place on the River Thame and Chalgrove Brook.
The alert covers the river from Marsworth to Shillingford including, Long Marston, Rowsham, Cuddington, Thame, Shabbington, Ickford, Waterperry, Wheatley, Drayton St Leonard and Dorchester, and also the Chalgrove Brook at Chalgrove and Stadhampton.
A flood watch warning indicates that low-lying land and roads could be flooded.
