Traffic is being diverted through north Oxfordshire after a lorry overturned on the A43.

The A43 is closed on the northbound carriageway near Brackley, between the A422 Oxford Road and A421 / B4031 Barleymow roundabout.

The road was closed at about 2.30am after the cereal lorry crashed.

The southbound carriageway has been reopened, but the northbound carriageway is expected to remain closed until the vehicle is recovered.

Traffic is being diverted along the northbound M40 to J11, then along the eastbound A422 through Middleton Cheney and Farthinghoe towards Brackley.
