St Bartholomew’s Parish Church in Ducklington is holding its annual Fritillary celebrations this weekend.
The Fritillary is a rare type of plant grown in fields near to the church owned by Ducklington resident Edmund Strainge.
On Sunday, April 19, the fields will be open between 11am and 4pm for anyone who wants to come down and enjoy the plants for themselves.
Signs will be posted from Witney so that people can walk up to the village from the town, stopping in the church for tea and cake.
