A festival is set to return to Wallingford this summer, offering music, magic and more.

Crowfest was launched in 2022 with the aim of raising funds for Crowmarsh Youth Football Club.

The inaugural event was enjoyed by sold out crowds.

This year's festival is set to take place on June 15 at Wallingford Sports Park.

It will feature music from Unusual Suspects, Brook Ellingwoth, and ABBA tribute band Planet ABBA among others.

There will also be entertainment from a children's entertainer and a magician.

There will be a food and drinks village at the festival offering a range of options, as well as a range of other stalls.

The festival in 2022 included performances by Didcot indie band 'C U Tuesday', BBC The Voice's 2012 participant Adam Isaac and DJ Richard Strange, who will be returning this summer.

It was formed by Jake Ramshaw, who came up with the idea in September 2021.

Speaking after the event in 2022, chairman of the football club, Richard Eltham, said it was "amazing" and raised "significant funds" for the club.

He added: "That was some weekend. A massive thank you from me to each and everyone of you that gave up your time over the weekend.

"We have raised some significant funds for the club to enable us to continue providing football for all at low cost."
