An Oxford University college is set to reveal its new buildings after several years of construction.
On April 13, the Gradel Quadrangles of New College will be opened by vice chancellor professor Irene Tracey.
The architectural addition to Oxford, designed by David Kohn Architects, has been labelled by Historic England as "one of the very few instances where contemporary design can be considered genuinely outstanding".
The buildings, named after primary donor Chris Gradel, feature curved quadrangles, a tower housing a research institute, and 25 new gargoyles symbolising life forms facing extinction.
A recital hall is also located beneath the quadrangles.
The warden of New College, Miles Young, said: "We are thrilled that, as novel and as original as they are, these buildings already feel like an intrinsic part of the college."
