Activate Apprenticeships is set to host an event dispelling myths about apprenticeships in health and social care.

The in-person gathering, Apprenticeship Myths Unmasked: Health and Social Care, will take place at the Oxford city centre campus of City of Oxford College and University Centre on April 18, from 4.30pm-7.30pm.

The event aims to provide employers with invaluable insights about how apprenticeships can bridge skills gaps in their organisations.

A panel of experts from the healthcare and social care field will shed light on apprenticeship routes, opportunities created by apprenticeships, and will correct popular misunderstandings.

Participants can expect to network with other industry specialists, pose questions, and receive practical advice on establishing a successful career in health and social care through apprenticeships.

This includes touring Activate Apprenticeships' facilities while enjoying some light refreshments.

Andrea Blackmore, adult care performance coach at Activate Apprenticeships, said: "This event presents a prime opportunity for us to connect with prospective employers, allowing us to highlight the valuable contributions in training we can bring to them.

"Being involved in nurturing an individual's growth and development in the diverse field of care brings me immense joy.

"Witnessing learners blossom in confidence and expertise serves as a constant reminder of the profound impact our work can have."

Registrations for this free event can be made on the Apprenticeship Myths Unmasked: Health and Social Care Eventbrite page.
