Oxford United is one of 70 football clubs across featured on the world’s longest multi-club football scarf.

The scarf is the result of more than 500 hours of work involving design, knitting, and sewing.

Each club representation on the scarf was hand-sewn by specialists in Manchester.

The scarf celebrates the launch of the Kellogg’s Football Camps programme.

Ex-pros Jermaine Beckford and Michael Dawson were at the launch, as were Manchester City Women’s Chloe Kelly, Demi Stokes, and Ruby Mace, who surprised a group of young players as they trained at City’s Etihad Campus.

Kellogg's has teamed up with the English Football League, Manchester City, Celtic, and Rangers for the initiative, looking to keep children active over the summer holidays.

Kellogg's is offering 30,000 free places for the football camps expected to kick off this summer.

These camps are targeted at children aged five to 15, extending from Grimsby to Glasgow and Plymouth to Peterborough.

Former Hull City and England defender, Michael Dawson, said: "For me, football camps during school breaks were where I had the most fun, kicking the football around with your mates.

"The EFL has such an advantage being part of so many different communities up and down the country, and to have Kellogg’s on board this summer to give so many kids the same opportunity I had when I was younger is really exciting."

Parents can sign their children up via the Kellogg's website.
