Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been taking photos of their ‘happy places’.
‘My happy place’ was this week’s theme for club members and they captured a wide variety of different subjects.
Some snappers chose well-known locations including the Radcliffe Camera and South Park, while others selected locations outside Oxford or offered photos of their families having fun.

It’s always difficult to choose a winner for photo of the week but in the end we selected Ian Marriott’s self-portrait on the Thames in Abingdon.
Each week camera club members are given a theme and they post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.
A number of photos are then featured in the Oxford Mail and in The Oxford Times, and one image is chosen as photo of the week.
For more information about joining camera club and the way it is run, visit the club’s Facebook page. The next theme is ‘a grand day out’.
