A Taekwon-Do seminar weekend attracting people from across the country was hosted by Wallingford School.

The three-day event earlier this month for the martial arts activity was the UKTA National Blackbelt Seminar and Grading Weekend.

Training sessions took place on Friday evening and all day Saturday, followed by a grading session on Sunday.

Wallingford Taekwon-Do instructor Becky Ward said: "It was a weekend full of hard work, with a lot of patterns, self-defence and sparring covered by our three Grandmasters – there were a lot of smiles and sweat throughout!

"Those successful in their gradings put on a wonderful display – I think everyone watching was suitably impressed."

Oxford Mail: The Wallingford Taekwon-Do seminarMs Ward added: "Over 100 students, Instructors, Masters and Grandmasters came from all over the UK for this event – it was a honour to host a fantastic weekend, enjoyed by all.

"Wallingford Taekwon-do students even got their own glimpse into what their Taekwon-do futures may hold.

"A very big thank you to everyone that made it such a successful weekend."
