More than 100 year seven pupils have taken part in theatre workshops hosted by Banbury's MP.
Victoria Prentis welcomed the pupils to her Shakespeare Day at the town's Broughton Castle.
The event was attended by students from Bloxham School, Whitelands Academy in Bicester, Chipping Norton School, Cooper School in Bicester, Wykham Park Academy in Banbury, and North Oxfordshire Academy.
The workshops were delivered by the Royal Shakespeare Company, allowing students to explore A Midsummer Night’s Dream before they performed in front of the whole group.
Ms Prentis said the event provided "a unique and memorable introduction to one of Shakespeare’s most famous pieces of work”.
She thanked both the High Sheriff of Oxfordshire Sally Scott for sponsorship, and the Fiennes family for providing the venue.
