AN award-winning theatre company is putting on a brand-new production this month.

Reading Operatic Society is ‘proud and privileged’ to present an ‘Easter treat’ for the whole family - The Wizard of Oz.

The theatre company will be performing of L. Frank Baum’s stage adaptation at The Kenton Theatre in Henley from March 27 to 30, with the musical score from the MGM film.

This stage adaptation, originally presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company, premiered at the Barbican Centre in London.

With the creative team of director Jake Turnell Willett, associate musical director Amy Bingham and choreographer Kim Coulson this promises to be a ‘splashy, spectacle–driven, fun extravaganza’.

Tickets cost £23 for adults and £21 for concessions.
