This week’s theme prompted lots of pictures of cats and dogs, and other more exotic creatures.
These included a gecko, a meerkat and a peacock.

Lots of pictures could have been selected for the photo of the week but in the end we went for this striking shot of a man walking his dog across flooded Wolvercote Common.
Bob Weatherhead, who took the photo, said: “Thanks to his intrepid owner this dog will get a walk whatever the weather.”
Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.
A selection are featured in the Oxford Mail and in our other titles.
For more information about camera club visit the club’s Facebook page. The next theme is ‘trees’.
