A safe has been stolen by men wearing orange and yellow hats in Henley.

Two men broke into a Henley property on Friday evening and stole the property’s safe.

The house was on Greys Road and the break in took place between 6.40pm and 7.30pm.

The offenders conducted a “messy search” and the safe contained various items.

The first man has been described as white, roughly five feet and nine inches tall, a medium build and was said to have "what sounded like an Irish accent".

He was seen wearing a yellow striped bobble hat, dark gloves and a dark blue and grey coat with a white logo on the chest and arms.

The man also wore a dark blue facemask, dark trousers and dark trainers with some white detail near the sole.

The second man was white and had an Irish accent.

He was also wearing a hat which has been described as "distinctively orange and red".

The man was also wearing gloves, a blue jacket and a similar mask to the offender described previously.

Thames Valley Police’s investigating officer PC Thomas Pill said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“Also, if you have any CCTV footage in the area or any dash-cam footage if you were driving in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.”
