A MAN has failed to show up to his court ordered unpaid work after stealing £1,330 in cash from Waitrose.

Richard Murray, 23, of Castle Street in Wallingford, was ordered to carry out 66 hours of unpaid work within 12 months of stealing from the supermarket chain in Henley.

Murray stole the money from the story in Bell Street between March and April 2020 and was sentenced in January last year.

He was also ordered to attend appointments with an officr and participate in any activity required for six days.
