WE HAD an eerie collection of images sent in for this week's abandoned theme.
Everything from haunting broken dolls and derelict buildings to long-forgotten rusted bikes was submitted.
Our winning snap, however, is something a little more colourful.
Wendy Meagher has captured a clapped-out car left out in middle of the African desert.
Taken in Solitaire, Namibia, we love the vivid shades of the bright orange and yellow motor sitting submerged in sand with the desolate landscape in the background.
The car, which its missing wheels and dented metalwork, also fits perfectly with the theme.
Next week's theme, especially fitting given today's winning snap, is wheels.
