THE inquest of a man who died when his light aircraft crashed in an Oxfordshire nature reserve will take place today.
David Norris, 64, was killed on January 15, 2017 at Aston Rowant Nature Reserve.
A report released by the Government's Air Accidents Investigation Branch following the crash revealed he was flying at least 1,200ft below the safe zone at the time.
His inquest was initially opened on February 1 last year before being adjourned.
Today's inquest, which will take place at Oxford Coroner's Court, will have a jury.
Mr Norris had served as chairman of Newton Longville Parish Council in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, for several years.
