OXFORD MAGISTRATES

GRZEGORZ KOZIK, 35, of Elm Grove, Kidlington, was convicted of driving above the legal alcohol limit on March 19 at Cumnor Hill, Oxford. Had 107 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath.He was made subject to a community order to include 120 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £620 and disqualified from driving for 24 months.

PAUL CLARKE, 36, of Barwood Court, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a supervision order by failing to keep in touch with supervision officers on April 5, 25 and May 3. He was fined £50.

KERRY WHEELER, 36, of Weald Street, Bampton, was convicted of driving without a licence and third party insurance on January 8 at Faringdon. She was fined a total of £880 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

OLIVER BISHOP, 18, of Moreton, Thame, admitted driving above the legal drug limit with quantities of MDMA and cannabis in his blood on December 11 at Thame. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and he must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £500 and was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

CARL MCDONALD, 45, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted handling stolen goods between May 8 and 9 at Oxford. He was jailed for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months and must pay compensation of £190.

MURTAZAR AHMED, 28, of Swinburne Road, Oxford, admitted possession of an offensive weapon – a knuckle duster, and possession of a quantity of cannabis on June 13 at Swinburne Road. He was jailed for 12 weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

ALAN TYLER, 46, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offenders register by failing to register every seven days. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40.

KAYLEIGH WATSON, 31, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing assorted books valued at £344.81 from Waterstones bookstores, Broad Street, Oxford, on June 13. She also admitted stealing food valued at £90 on May 3, washing powder valued at £36 on May 7 and more washing powder valued at £40 on May 8, all from Sainsbury’s, Oxford. She was jailed for 12 weeks and must pay court costs of £50 and compensation totalling £126.

RYAN EELEY, 20, of Warburg Crescent, Blackbird Leys, admitted assault by beating of a woman in Blackbird Leys on April 24 and common assault on a woman Templars Square, Cowley, on May 19. He was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months and made subject to a community order to include participation in the Building Better Relationships programme for 30 days and rehabilitation activity requirement for 30 days. He must also pay compensation of £200 and a victim surcharge of £250.

DAVID JOHN CHILD, 59, of Divinity Road, Oxford, admitted damaging property belonging to Homeless Oxford at an unknown value on February 9 and February 19. Discharged conditionally for six months. £50 compensation.

JAMES WILLIAM BAKER, 46, of Lammas Close, Abingdon, admitted to drink driving in Coromandel, Abingdon, with 43mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit, on June 1. Fined £80, victim surcharge £30 and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

ADAM O'CONNELL, 18, of Normandy Crescent, Oxford, admitted to drink driving in Sandford Road with 57mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit, on May 15. Fined £350, victim surcharge £35 and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 16 months.

RAFAL ANDRZEJ GOLOMBE, 42, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted to stealing two T-shirts at Levi's stores in The Westgate Centre, Oxford, on May 29. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Compensation £50, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85.

DAMIAN RATAJ, 22, of Middleton Road, Banbury, admitted to holding an 8ins lock knife with a 3ins blade without good reason or lawful authority in Moo Moo, High Street, Banbury, on April 29, and failed to attend Banbury Magistrates' Court on May 16. Prison sentence of two months suspended for 12 months. Fined £240, victim surcharge £115, costs £85.

ALEX MOORE, 18, of Orchard Way, Wantage, was convicted of of racially aggravated abuse directed at a woman on July 2 and 5. Banned from entering Market Place, Wantage, for eight weeks. Restraining order made. Compensation £150.

KAREN LUCY ROSE BOTTLEY, 49, of Ashurst Way, Oxford, admitted to driving without insurance on Botley Road, Oxford, on October 22. Fined £440, victim surcharge £44 and costs £85. Banned from driving for six months.

DAMIEN PAINTIN, of Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford, admitted to stealing perfume to the value of £111.99 from John Lewis in Oxford on February 3. Discharged conditionally for six months. Compensation £347.64.

ANDREW PHILLIP CAREFORD, 35. of Ash Grove, Headington, Oxford, admitted to drink driving in Northfield Road with 47mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit, on June 1. Fined £333, victim surcharge £33 and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 14 months.

LUKE DARREN GRANT, 31, of Banbury Road, Oxford, admitted to holding a lock knife in Oxford city centre without good reason or lawful authority on June 1. Prison sentence of four months suspended for 12 months. Victim surcharge £115 and costs £85.

PHILEMON KINYANJU, 24, of Lambourn Road, Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted to drink driving in Comfrey Road with 81mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit; possessing cannabis, a controlled Class B drug; driving without insurance; and driving without a suitable licence on June 4. Fined £891, victim surcharge £30 and costs £50.
