OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

ANDREI PARASCANU, 31, of West Street, Banbury, was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance in Southam Road, Banbury on February 20. Fined £300, must pay victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

CALLUM WARNER, 23, of Alvescot Road, Carterton, was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance in Lawton Avenue, Carterton on January 1. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

CLAIRE BOLD, 39, of Crooks Terrace, Wantage, was convicted of assaulting a woman by beating her in Wantage on February 13. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £620.

DONNA MARIE HARRIS, 34, of Naldertown, Wantage was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance in Naldertown, Wantage on December 6. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for six months.

THOMAS SKELTON, 29, of HM Prison Bullingdon, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order by ringing the home telephone number of a man which he was prohibited from doing. Sentenced to four weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

RICHARD BUTLER, 40, of O’Hanlon House, Oxford was convicted of begging in a public place on four occasions in Oxford between February 13 and March 31. Given a Criminal Behaviour Order for two years and he must not beg, sit on the ground, enter or remain within Oxford city centre or rough sleep. He must also engage with drug addiction services. Fined £25 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

TIM JOHN FISH, 31, of High Street, Woodstock, admitted stealing items worth £425 from John Lewis in the Westgate Centre on April 7 and £973.50 worth of items from the same store on April 21 and £1,081 worth of items on April 28. Must carry out 50 hours of unpaid work in 12 months. Must pay £2,479.50 compensation.

THOMAS HARRY NOBLE, 25, of Burchester Avenue, Barton, admitted driving while disqualified in Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford on April 29. Sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for 24 months. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 13 months.

HAYLEY DAWN COX, 36, of Henry Taunt Close, Barton admitted stealing jumpers worth £384.65 from Jack Wills in Oxford on February 2 and jumpers worth £325 from Jack Wills on March 27. Jailed for 18 weeks, must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

DAVID ALAN HOLTON, 72, of The Magnolias, Bicester, admitted using a vehicle without insurance and without a licence in Hornbeam Road, Bicester on March 28. Was also above the alcohol limit with 146mcg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, exceeding the limit of 80mcg. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £50. Disqualified for 17 months.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

TYRESE YEARWOOD, 18, of West Street, Bicester, admitted possession with intent to supply cannabis on October 27 at Bicester. He was made subject to a community order to include 200 hours of unpaid work within 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

DEAN MURRAY, 29, of Edinburgh Way, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or violence at Banbury on May 6. He was made subject to a community order to include rehabilitation activity requirement for 30 days and 150 hours of unpaid work within 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

Dr INGRID FERGUSON, 54, of Down End, Hook Norton, was convicted of speeding at 41mph in a 30mph zone on Main Road, Broughton, on October 16. She was fined £719 and must pay a victim surcharge of £71 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.

JAMES JUSTE, 33, of Alvescot Road, Carterton, admitted breaching a restraining order at Carterton on May 24 by sending a text message to the subject of the order. He was fined £500 and must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85.

DAVID MARCHANT, 47, of Heather Close, Carterton, admitted drink-driving in Carterton on May 17. Had 79mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 46 months.

RICHARD MIDDLETON, 47, of Sibford Road, Hook Norton, admitted drink-driving in Hook Norton on May 17. Had 49mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. He was fined £180 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

NAVOOD RASOOL, 32, of Bath Road, Banbury, admitted driving above the legal limit for cannabis at Dash Wood Road, Banbury, on March 10. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

DEAN WEBB, 31, of Sedge Way, Carterton, admitted stealing bottles of whiskey valued at £160 from Asda, Carterton, on May 11 and vodka valued at £180 from Asda, Carterton on May 12. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay compensation totalling £170, a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

JACK BARRATT, 37, of Mckeevor Place, Banbury, admitted stealing a pedal cycle valued at £144 at Banbury railway station on June 14. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.
