DISRUPTIONS on the Oxford to London Paddington railway are continuing after a person was hit by a train.

Great Western Railway is warning of delays of up to 25 minutes after the incident in Slough this morning.

A police investigation was conducted at the site amid reports the death is being treated as suspicious.

All the railway lines have now reopened and trains are able to run but engines and crew are in the wrong place which is causing the continued problems.

Last minute cancellations and services running to a revised schedule is expected to continue until at least 6pm.

Passengers are being advised to use other services or travel tomorrow instead.
