PEOPLE in two cars which crashed head-on in Oxfordshire were lucky to be able to get out of the vehicles themselves.
The Kia and BMW crashed on the B4011 in Piddington at about 1.30pm yesterday.
A woman in one of the cars was injured and taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. A man was treated and discharged by paramedics at the scene.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters helped paramedics treat three people and cleared oil which had spilled down the road as a result of the collision.
A fire engine from Bicester responded to the incident, along with another from the Defence Fire and Rescue Service at Arncott.
Thames Valley Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
