The extension to the Oxford East constituency proposed by the Boundary Commission would include Botley Road and Jericho
THOUSANDS of Oxfordshire voters who may be shunted into a different Parliamentary constituency have one week left to comment on the proposals.
A public consultation being run by the Government's Boundary Commission for England closes at the end of the day on Monday, December 11.
Under the proposals, Oxford East would be expanded west to include Botley Road, Jericho and Port Meadow (currently in Oxford West and Abingdon), and renamed 'Oxford', and Oxford West and Abingdon would also be expanded.
