TEN burglaries within less than a month in Abingdon, Cumnor and West Hagbourne are being linked by police.

The daytime burglaries took place between October 26 and November 22. 

Thieves got in through the rear of each property by forcing or climbing over a side gate.

They then entered the house by smashing or forcing a rear door.

Each property was ransacked and cash and jewellery was stolen.

The burglaries occurred in York Road and Cosecote West in Hagbourne and Oxford Road, Hanson Road, Rivy Close, Morton Close and Nene Road in Abington.

Detective Sergeant Francesca Jarvis from Abingdon Local CID, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious on the dates these burglaries took place.

"In particular if anyone has information about two clean shaven men in their twenties, one who was wearing an orange jacket and either a green mini convertible with a black roof in West Hagbourne on October 26 or a grey Audi in Nene Road on November 21.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 and to mark the call for the attention of DS Francesca Jarvis.
