POST will be delivered across Oxfordshire next week after Royal Mail won a High Court injunction preventing a planned 48-hour strike by postal workers.
Members of the Communication Workers Union were due to walk out from October 19 after voting massively in favour of industrial action in a long-running dispute over pensions, pay and jobs.
Royal Mail wrote to the CWU saying any industrial action would be unlawful. The union was given a deadline to withdraw the strike threat, which it missed, prompting the injunction.
