IT'S enough to make you thirsty just looking at it.

We challenged Oxford Mail Camera Club members to send us pictures of their favourite pub and they revealed just how many favourite pubs they have.

Diane Braggs, to unfairly single her out, sent us at least seven pictures of top watering holes in and around Oxford.

In the end, we went for a picture where you can't even see the pub – this evocative shot of the pints lining up on a windowsill at the Red Lion pub at Eynsham Carnival in July: you can hear the shirt race happening in the background!

Another regular at the Camera Club Arms, Donna Cassettari, also clearly went on a gruelling pub crawl – sorry, photo shoot – to send us as many options as possible.

From her round we chose a very atmospheric shot of the beloved Victoria Arms pub in Old Marston looking marvellous in the early evening sun.

Ian Marriott won plaudits from clubbers on Facebook for this very original selfie, captured whilst on a kayak in the River Thames in front of Abingdon's Old Anchor Inn.

Lynne Nottage, meanwhile, gets full nostalgia points for this unbeatable portrait of the gone-but-not-forgotten Fox and Hounds pub in Abingdon Road (now a Tesco).

Not only was the photograph taken during the infamous 2007 floods in Oxford, when Ian Marriott could have paddled his kayak down the length of Abingdon Road, there's even a rainbow of hope shining over the beloved inn.

Jim Jutton's shot of The Red Lion in Yarton, its windows warming the winter snow all around it, manages to look even more tempting.

Michelle Barber, meanwhile, definitely gets the booby prize this week for a photo of herself at what she describes as Disneyworld, Florida's Irish pub, 'The Raglan Road'.

It's just not a real pub, is it?

Moving on, we thought we'd go for a slightly more esoteric theme next week.

Seeing as you all came up with such clever responses to our theme of 'time', this time we want photos on the theme of space.

Interpret how you will, just have fun!
