WIN a pair of tickets to see the award-winning comedian and Oxford Playhouse patron Stewart Lee

Following the success of his week-long sell-out run at the Playhouse in Spring this year, we are offering a pair of tickets to one lucky reader when he returns next week with his show Content Provider.

Back by popular demand, this is Stewart’s first full-length show since the award-winning Carpet Remnant World

Stewart Lee is renowned as one of the UK’s best comics.

He began stand-up in 1988 at the age of 20, whilst studying at St Edmund Hall, Oxford, and won the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year in 1990. In 2001 he co-wrote the libretto for Richard Thomas’s Jerry Springer, The Opera, which went on to win four Olivier Awards, followed by winning Best Male TV Comic and Best Comedy Entertainment Performance at the British Comedy Awards in 2011 and a BAFTA in 2012.

This hilarious offering is rooted in political comedy, selfie culture and as always, his dislike of his own audience. An evening that you will never forget: a master of comedy right here in your local theatre.

Prize includes two tickets for the performance on Monday, September 11, at 7.30pm.

For the chance to win the pair of tickets, answer this question:

Q: What is the title of Stewart Lee’s current comedy show?

email macky@nqo.com or tweet @oxmailmacky with your name and contact details by Thursday September 7.

Usual Newsquest rules apply.
