THE future of the Oxford Academic Health Science Network (Oxford AHSN) has been secured until 2023.
The organisation brings together universities, industry and the NHS to improve health in the region .
Following a meeting on July 21 the NHS England board has confirmed all 14 AHSNs in the country will be re-licensed from 2018, initially for five years at a cost of £39m.
Professor Gary Ford, chief executive of Oxford AHSN, said: “We are now well-placed to build on our work, focusing on innovation, growth and service transformation.”
