THE housing team from Oxfordshire Mind has raised almost £4,000 for the mental health charity after completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge.
Led by worker Maureen Bobby, the nine staff members set out to scale Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in less than 12 hours in mid-June. Despite treacherous weather conditions they completed the challenge in just 11.5 hours.
Team member Charlotte Grant said it had been ‘horrific yet fun’.
So far £3,949 has been raised in aid of Oxfordshire Mind. To donate visit tinyurl.com/ybtm9y3k
