DETAILED designs for a new 200-home estate have been submitted.
Housing developer Bellway wants to build the homes in Faringdon on land known as the Steeds, west of Coxwell Lane.
The company won outline planning permission for the estate in May, and has now sent Vale of White Horse District Council the detailed designs for two, three and four-bedroom homes, a children’s play area and public open spaces.
The developer is likely to be asked for £1.7m towards local schools, leisure facilities, waste and recycling and highways, as part of so-called Section 106 agreements.
