Also admitted possessing opiates, a class A drug, on February 19. Also admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on July 14. Handed a 16-week sentence, suspended for 18 months. Also ordered to pay £126 compensation, an £80 victim surcharge and £350 costs.

Robert Whiting, 34, of Aldbarton Drive, Headington, Oxford, admitted having an offensive weapon, which was a length of wood with nails in, in Gladstone Road, Headington, Oxford, on March 6. Handed an eight-week sentence, suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge and £350 costs.

Safina Briggs, 37, of Rookery Court, Didcot, admitted failing to attend a drugs assessment at Abingdon Police Station on June 5. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Mark Day, 42, of Church Lane, Drayton, Abingdon, admitted possessing a small locking knife in Shotover Park on July 16. Also admitted possessing one bag of cocaine, a class A drug. Fined £500 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Gareth Hughes, 35, of Russ Avenue, Faringdon, admitted drink-driving in Bromsgrove, Faringdon, on August 14. Had 76 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £440 and ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 20-month driving ban.

Mihai Hurmuz-Irimia, 22, of Blue Mountains, Wallingford, admitted drink-driving in Blue Mountains, Wallingford. Had 67 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Fined £288 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed an 18-month driving ban.

Nina Hutchins, 66, of Penny Chase, Bessels Way, Blewbury, admitted drink-driving in Wantage Road, Didcot. Had 115 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £735 and ordered to pay a £74 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 26-month driving ban.

Jose Phillips, 55, of no fixed abode, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Folly Bridge, Oxford, on August 13. Handed an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

David Turner, 52, of Cronshaw Close, Didcot, admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty in Cronshaw Close, Didcot, on August 15. Fined £400 and ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Edward Kershaw, 32, of Girdlestone Road, Oxford, admitted driving while high on cannabis in Morrell Avenue, Oxford, on June 15. Had 4.9 micrograms of the active chemical Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood over the 2mcg legal limit. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £280 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Louie Withers, 27, of Field Avenue, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted criminally damaging a window belonging to JD Wetherspoon in Between Towns Road, Oxford, on August 15. Ordered to pay £200 compensation and £20 costs.

Joseph Cleaton, 19, of Partridge Walk, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour to cause fear of unlawful violence at SGM in Oxford High Street on July 31. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Tara Illingworth, 39, of Moorfield Court, West Street, Banbury, admitted stealing children’s clothing worth £104 from Marks and Spencer in Banbury on April 2 and committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence. Sentenced to a total of 14 days in jail and ordered to pay a £115 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Jack Barratt, 35, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted stealing a charity box with £9 in cash belonging to charity Special Effects in Banbury on August 25.

James Taylor, 26, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order, by not attending rehabilitation activity requirement sessions on July 11 and July 29. Sentence of 12 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months. Order amended and extended for a further three months.
