RESIDENTS of one Wantage street celebrated the Queen's birthday all on their own, a week ahead of official celebrations.
Peter and Angie Rushton of Maria Crescent in Charlton invited all the neighbours to a take-and-share tea on Saturday, June 4, and ended up entertaining 30 guests.
Mrs Rushton said: "My husband and I always organise a street party for Royal occasions.
"We had a good old sing song and Saundra Helm provided a few quiz about the Royals
"We had three new members in our road and it was a lovely opportunity for them to meet the rest of our neighbours."
