DAZZLING trapeze artists, mind-blowing pole acrobatics and death-defying sword balancing are all on show from Millet's Farm's circus acts this year.

For the fourth year running the farm is hosting the performances, run by John Lawson's Circus, as part of its half term programme.

Events manager Jo Kent said: "The circus brings different acts with them each year so there's always something new for people to see.

"My personal favourite was the changeover act.

"In four minutes a lady and a gentleman managed to change clothes 18 times, I've no idea how they did it.

"All the children loved the polar bear as well, it was out there dancing and it went down really well."

Despite the appearance of "Boris" the polar bear the circus itself does not have animals, instead including a hula hoop dancer and a traditional circus clown.

Circus performances will be on every day this week until Sunday, with each show lasting for one hour.

As well as the show, the farm centre will also have its famous maze, garden centre and restaurants open this week.

Tickets cost £6.99 per person for the circus but visitors are encouraged to book in advance at milletsfarmcentre.com.
