The Lord Mayor and Miss Oxford celebrated the arrival of a new hotel in the city in unusual fashion.
The pair posed in a hotel bed on wheels in the city to promote the opening of Jurys Inn Oxford - a rebrand of the former Oxford Hotel in Godstow Road.
The hotel will undergo a refurbishment over the next six months which will feature the new bed that got a run out in the city yesterday.
Miss Oxford Shirin O'Neil, who will represent the city in next year's Miss England semi-final, toured the bed known as the Snooze Cruise across Oxford.
Lord Mayor Rae Humberstone joined in the fun at the hotel alongside general manager Debbie Priestley.
Ms Priestley said: "Having managed the hotel for the past year, the existing team and I are incredibly excited to operate under the Jurys Inn brand.
"What better way to celebrate than by taking the Dream bed to the streets of Oxford, so locals can test drive the bed and get to know us better."
