SPECIAL guests at Banbury's Ride a Cock Horse Folk Club next Wednesday will be Deb Sandland and Martin Green.
Organisers Mary and Derek Droscher said "It has been only nine months since they last appeared but they were so popular that we have invited them back without delay.
"The quality of Martin's guitar playing and Deb's singing is simply superb. Martin always has the ability to amuse his audience between songs as well."
Deb and Martin met during the Phil Beer Band tour in September 2000, when Martin was supporting the band with Andy Guttridge.
Martin also plays guitar for Banbury-based band Spank the Monkey, and brings a strong blues element to his music with Deb.
Deb's voice has been described as beguilingly innocent and vulnerable with assured poise and the confidence of experience."
The club meets every Wednesday in the Millers Bar at the Mill Arts Centre in Banbury .
Leaflets giving further information about the club are available from The Mill, Banbury Tourist Information Centre, One Man Band music shop, and Marlborough Road library or click on www.rideacock horse.co.uk
