More than 300 people have responded to a document that could determine the future of Botley’s West Way shopping centre.
The Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) – a set of guidelines for future development – allows up to eight storeys in some areas and permits uses such as a cinema, hotel, and student accommodation.
The public’s comments will be considered before a revised document is put before the Vale of White Horse District Council’s scrutiny committee later this month.
Developer Mace is expected to submit plans that adhere to the guidelines by the end of the year.
