A woman killed in a crash on the A34 near Bicester was a retired maths teacher, an inquest revealed on Tuesday.
Diana Allan, 73, from Cambridgeshire, died on July 12 on the A34 northbound at Weston-on-the-Green.
Opening an inquest into her death at Oxford Coroner’s Court, coroner Darren Salter said widowed Mrs Allan had been driving her Nissan when an HGV went into the back of it.
Her car ended up leaving the carriageway and she was recognised as dead by a paramedic.
