AFTER going down to the woods today, you could be in for a big surprise.
For one mum such a trip tired out her little boy enough for the youngster to manage a decent nap later on.
The Earth Trust’s sensory buggy walk this half-term saw parents and babies head into the woods for a stroll, picnic and wildlife-themed games.
The group was taken on a walk through the woodlands close to the Earth Trust centre in Little Wittenham, while stopping for a quick picnic and play.
The walk was put on to give youngsters the chance to use all their senses to learn about the natural world.
The walk lasted around 1 hour 30 minutes. The next event is the Woodland Adventure for five to eight-year-olds on Wednesday, July 22.
