Claudio Granelli, 55, of Redwood Close, Oxford, admitted using a hand-held mobile phone while driving in Oxford Road, Kidlington, on August 21, 2014. Fined £100 and driver’s licence endorsed with three points. Also Ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Benjamin Cutler, 18, of The Fairway, Banbury, admitted stealing a watch, wallet and long-sleeved shirt worth £84.97 from TK Maxx store in Calthorpe Street, Banbury, on January 8. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £20 costs.

Leon Drummond, 42, of Marlborough Place, Banbury, admitted assault by beating a woman in Banbury on April 1. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £25 compensation. Also ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

Barry Sanders, 39, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted stealing three bottles of fragrances worth £72.97 from TK Maxx store in Banbury on January 30. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Tom Wearing, 21, of no fixed address, admitted possessing cannabis (a Class B drug) in Banbury Police Station on March 31. Also admitted failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on April 22. David Moore, 61, of Buscot Drive, Abingdon, was convicted of failing to give police information which could identify a driver suspected of a motoring offence in Kidlington on July 17. Fined £600 and ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with six points.

Ross Murray, 24, of Dunsomer Hill, North Moreton, near Didcot, admitted speeding at 69mph in a 30pmh zone on Wallingford Road, Cholsey, on July 29. Fined £140 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 42 days.

Gary Collins, 39, of Chipping Warden, Banbury, admitted speeding in a heavy goods vehicle on the same stretch of the A41 near Blackthorn four times last year, caught travelling at 48mph in the 40mph zone on May 21, at 49mph the following day, then caught travelling at 50mph on June 2 and at 52mph on June 13. Not disqualified because of job loss and sick children who rely on him driving. Fined £460, ordered to pay £340 costs and £20 victim surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Brad Shields, 19, of Wadham Close, Bicester, admitted racially-aggravated assault in Bassett Avenue, Bicester, on March 6. Fined £110 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jack Massingham, 22, of Cavalier Road, Thame, admitted speeding at 68mph in a 30mph zone on Cuddesdon Road, Horspath, on May 11. Fined £235 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 42 days.

Jason Hirons, 25, of Bucknell Road, Bicester, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, Horsefair in Banbury, on March 29. Fined £133 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Thea Rowe, 32, of Sussex Drive, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in McKeevor Place, Banbury, on April 6. Had 68 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the prescribed limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £110 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

John Morris, 34, of Lower End, Alvescot, admitted harassing a woman by making excessive phone calls and text messages to her between December 1 and January 31. Given a community order and a restraining order against victim until further notice. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Rhea Adcock, 30, of Duke Street, Banbury, convicted of stealing a doormat in Duke Street on June 12. Also convicted of persistently making use of a public communication network to cause annoyance or inconvenience or anxiety from her home between March 1, 2013 and July 16 last year. Also convicted of harassing a woman in Duke Street by turning off electricity, shouting abuse, making threats and stealing her doormat. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge. Admitted committing an offence while subject to a six-month conditional discharge made at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on May 9 for possessing a Class B drug.
