OXFORD MAGISTRATES. 

  • JOHN KERR, 29, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing clothing worth £66 from Sports Direct in West Way, Oxford on February 3. Also admitted going equipped for theft with a pair of pliers at the same time and place. Given a 35-day community rehabilitation order. Ordered to pay £66 compensation and a victims’ surcharge of £60.
  • LUKE MCDONAGH, 24, of Nowell Road, Oxford, admitted stealing clothing worth £110 from JD Sports in the John Allen Centre, Between Towns Road, Oxford on January 9. He was already on a sixmonth conditional discharge imposed on December 26, 2014 for criminal damage. Jailed for seven days.
  • ANDREW SEARLE, 47, of Elm Road, North Moreton, admitted beating a woman in Station Road, Wallingford, on March 1. Fined £430 and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £43 and £85 costs.
  • MARK SMITH, 38, of no fixed address, breached an antisocial behaviour order by sitting down next to a cash point in High Street, Oxford, on March 18. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £20.
  • ROSEVALDO DOS-SANTOS, 36, of Saunders Road, Oxford, was convicted of harassing a woman by verbally abusing her at her place of work on October 21, 2014. Given a restraining order not to contact the victim in any way until March 18, 2016. Also fined £250 and ordered to pay £150 compensation. Also ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £25 and £400 costs.
  • ALLAN PANDE, 32, of Portland Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Crowmarsh Hill, Crowmarsh Gifford on January 10. Had 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 14-month driving ban and fined £150. Ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • GRAHAM BOYD, 42, of Luther Street, Oxford, was convicted of beating a woman in Bayswater Brook, Didcot on November 30, 2014. Given a six-month supervision order and a two-year restraining order not to visit an address in Bayswater Brook. Also ordered to pay £100 in compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £200 costs.
  • JAMES BONE, 36, of Freehold Street, Lower Heyford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place on January 26 in Keble Road, Bicester. Also admitted causing criminal damage to a greenhouse in Keble Road on the same date. Given a six-month conditional discharge, fined £85 and ordered to pay £15 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • CARA SHANAHAN-OWENS, 23, of Augustine Way, Oxford, admitted wilfully obstructing police officers in the execution of their duty in Oxford on October 9. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim’s surcharge and £85 costs.
  • THOMAS AMER, 51, of Meadow Way, Carterton, admitted speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone in Oxford Road, Woodstock on June 9. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim’s surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with three points.
  • IAN DAVID, 33, of Druids Walk, Didcot, convicted of assaulting a man in Didcot on July 16. Made subject to a supervision order. Ordered to pay £150 compensation, a £60 victim’s surcharge and £595 costs.
  • LUCY-ANN HAMAMI, 28, of Field Avenue, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man in Oxford between November 4 and November 11. Made subject to a community order requiring her to take part in employment, training and education for five days. Ordered to pay a £60 victim’s surcharge.
  • FRANCES ACKLAND, 58, of Wilcote Lane, Ramsden, near Witney, admitted not informing the Department for Work and Pensions that she was employed and therefore that her entitlement to carer’s allowance had changed on March 5. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim’s surcharge and £85 costs.
  • ANDREW ADAMS, 26, of Chillingworth Crescent, Oxford, admitted possessing 0.33 grams of class C drug buprenorphine in Abingdon on January 24. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim’s surcharge and £85 costs.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES. 

  • NATHAN LEWIS, 34, of Rutten Lane, Yarnton, admitted an assault which caused actual bodily harm in Spencer Avenue, Yarnton, on June 15. Community order made with 90 hours of unpaid work and told to pay £3,275 compensation and £400 costs.
  • ENOU PRUTEANU, 39, of Woodstock Road West, Begbroke, near Kidlington, admitted drink-driving in Woodstock Road, Oxford, on January 11. Had 63 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 17-month driving ban and told to pay a £250 fine and £85 costs.
  • DAVID STANLEY, 30, of Ray Road, Bicester, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Bicester on February 27. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • ARTUR CIURA, 25, of Street Through Little Chesterton, Chesterton, admitted drink-driving in Queens Avenue, Bicester, on February 28. Had 43 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month driving ban and told to pay a £230 fine and a £23 victims’ surcharge.
  • STEPHEN CLUTTON, 45, of Hanover Gardens, Bicester, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road, Bicester, on February 28. Had 114 microgams of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Community order made with 80-hour unpaid work requirement and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • LUKE COOPER, 37, of Abbey Road, Witney, admitted assault by beating between February 7 and February 9 in Witney. Community order made with 100- hour unpaid work requirement and 10-day rehabilitation requirement. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
