A TEENAGER who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing seven girls has today been branded "dangerous" and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Archie Collicutt, of Wilcote Riding, Finstock, West Oxfordshire, admitted two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual activity with a child and the attempted rape of a child under 13.

This morning Judge Gordon Risius gave the 18-year-old an extended prison sentence at Oxford Crown Court and said he had threatened to kill his victims to keep them quiet.

Collicutt committed most of his crimes between May and September last year, with one of the rapes taking place a year earlier.

Judge Risius said he also has a previous conviction for battery, after he assaulted a teacher at his school.

He told Collicutt he would spend at least two thirds of his sentence in custody and then be subject to three extra years on licence.
