RESIDENTS in Oxfordshire are being warned to watch out for severe winds caused by the remains of Hurricane Gonzalo.

The Met Office says there could be severe gales today, with the strongest winds expected after the rain clears.

Gusts of more than 55 mph are likely and trees could come down, according to the weather forecasters.
