Police are trying to find the owner of a brooch, pictured, they believe has been stolen.

A man took the item into a pawn shop in Banbury at about 1.30pm on October 4 and tried to get £42 for it. The shop assistant suspected the brooch was stolen and contacted police.

To claim the jewellery, proof of ownership will be required.
