BANBURY MAGISTRATES

1 - Stefan Peck, 44, of Middleton Road, Bucknell, near Bicester, was convicted of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely Ardley Road, Bicester, on April 5. Fined £600 and ordered to pay £109.17 in vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.

2 - Temitope Agunbiade, 40, of Ridgefield Road, Oxford, was convicted of keeping a vehicle on a public road, namely Napier Road, Oxford, having declared it off-road on May 12. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £38.34 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.

3 - Sultan Ahmed, 34, of Cardigan Street, Oxford, was convicted of keeping an uninsured vehicle in Oxford on May 6. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £110 costs.

4 - Catherine Calkin, 26, of Streatfield House, Alvescot Road, Carterton, was convicted of failing to properly insure her vehicle in Carterton on October 22. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £110 costs.

5 - Delowar Chowdhury, 70, of Pauling Road, Headington, was convicted of failing to hand in a licence for a motor vehicle for which the cheque payment had been dishonoured on March 28 in Oxford. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £112.50 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.

6 - Emily Hyde, 21, of Cratlands Close, Stadhampton, was convicted of keeping a vehicle that was not properly insured in Oxford on January 9. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £110 costs.

7 - Ibrar Qayyum, 23, of Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely Annesley Road, Oxford, on May 12. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £54.50 in vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.

8 - Stuart Robinson, 40, of Cotman Close, Abingdon, was convicted of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely Balmoral Road, Didcot, on May 7. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £18.75 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.

9 - Keith Tompkins, 49, of Albermarle Drive, Grove, near Wantage, was convicted of keeping a vehicle which was not properly insured in Wantage on February 7. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £110 costs.

10 - Fayhaa Ahmad, 32, of Desborough Crescent, Oxford, admitted using a colour television at her home without a licence on February 4. Fined £35 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £120 costs.

11 - Anwara Ali, 32, of Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, was convicted of using a colour television at her home without a licence between January 1 and January 31. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £75 costs.

12 - Eva Barcza, 40, of Wear Road, Bicester, was convicted of using a colour television at home without a licence between February 1 and February 20. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £120 costs.

13 - Lee Brooks, 32, of Strathmore Close, Carterton, admitted drink driving on Northwood Crescent, Carterton, on July 29. Had 156 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, over the legal limit of 35mg. Given a 19-week prison sentence suspended for two years because the offence was so serious. Also ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and banned from holding a driving licence for 36 months.

14 - Robert Chatindo, 41, of Avon Crescent, Bicester, admitted speeding at 45mph on a 30mph road in Middleton Stoney Road, Bicester, on March 9. Fined £160 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given four points on driving licence.

15 - Trevor Bulgin, 29, of Church View, Berinsfield, near Wallingford, admitted driving without insurance in Long Wittenham Road, Long Wittenham, near Didcot, on March 9. Fined £400 and told to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six points on driving licence.

16 - Agata Towpik, 29, of Westbrook, Grove, Wantage, admitted driving without a licence in Grove Street, Wantage, on March 7. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given three points on driving licence.

17 - Laura Fisher, 32, of Sinodun Road, Wallingford, convicted of failing to give information as to the identity of a driver when required between March 11 and April 8 in Banbury. Fined £600 and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six points on driving licence.

18 - Marianna Minda, 30, of Tyrells Close, Harwell, Didcot, admitted driving without insurance in Park Road, Didcot, on March 2. Fined £300 and told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six points on driving licence.

19 - Shelly Hurd, 26, of Oxford Road, Kirtlington, convicted of speeding at a speed in excess of the 30mph limit in Banbury Road, Cutteslowe, on March 7. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given four points on driving licence.

20 - Emma Chandler, 23, of Alice Smith Square, Littlemore, admitted two counts of assault by beating in The Nelson pub, Between Towns Road, Cowley, Oxford, on August 10. Community order made with two-month curfew requirement and three-month exclusion order banning her from the Nelson pub. Told to pay £50 compensation and a £60 victims’ surcharge.

21 - Alfred Down, 50, of East Challow, Wantage, admitted two counts of assault by beating in East Challow on March 12. Community order made with employment, training and education activity requirement for 10 days and restraining order made banning contact with victim. Told to pay £150 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £300 costs.
