Four football teams took part in a tournament on Saturday in memory of popular football manager Derek Measor.

The 56-year-old BMW factory worker died when his bike was involved in a collision with a Nissan Micra in Watlington Road, near Garsington, on February 17.

To mark the six-month anniversary of his death, Rover Cowley FC, which he had managed and Watlington Town FC, Oxford University Press FC and Chalgrove Cavaliers FC played six matches.

The event was held at Abingdon Town Football Club, in Culham Road, Abingdon, and was organised by the dad-of-two’s family for Diabates UK.
