OXFORD MAGISTRATES

  1. Trevor Cox, 45, of Gainsborough Green, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in a Ford Transit in Oxford Road, Abingdon, on June 14. Had 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £600 and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.
  2. Michael Cousin, 22, of Hogarth Place, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in a blue Ford Focus in Anson Close, Marcham, on June 15. Had 79 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £260 and told to pay a £26 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.
  3. Sam Iles, 33, of Oxford Road, Littlemore, admitted interfering with a Toyota Lexus in Northmoor Road, Oxford, on June 15. Fined £55 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge. Also fined £55 for committing a crime while subject to a conditional discharge order.
  4. Caz Charles, 24, of Cuddesdon Way, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in a Ford Focus in Westminister Way, Botley, on June 15. Had 41 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £140 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
  5. Sean Smith, 67, of Balfour Road, Blackbird Leys, admitted drink-driving in a Rover 400 in Field Avenue, Oxford, on June 13. Had 74 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £265 and told to pay a £26 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.
  6. Craig Monaghan, 29, of Faulkner Way, Stanford in the Vale, convicted of damaging a police vehicle at The Bell public house in Faringdon on March 22. Also admitted resisting a Pc in the execution of his duty at The Bell in Faringdon on March 22. Fined a total of £650 and told to pay £50 compensation, a £65 victims’ surcharge, and £170 costs.



BANBURY MAGISTRATES

  1. Gina Williams, 50, of Cassington Road, Yarnton, near Kidlington, was convicted of failing to provide information to Thames Valley Police which could identify a driver suspected of an offence in Banbury between October 8 and November 5. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £200 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
  2. Ryan Kane, 29, of Duke Street, Banbury, admitted drink-driving on Middleton Road and Woburn Close Banbury on March 11. Had 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Banned from driving for 40 months, fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  3. Lee Marlow, 34, of Barnard Gate, Witney, admitted receiving 43 stolen solar panels, belonging to Solar Century, in Barnard Gate on April 29. Given a Community Order with 150 hours unpaid work in the next year. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  4. Nathan Pound, 23, of Hearthway, Banbury, admitted assaulting a man in Broad Street, Banbury, on June 17. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  5. Ashleigh Bennett, 24, of Clover Place, Eynsham, admitted burgling the Co-op on Witney High Street and stealing £168 of alcohol on February 16. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £24 costs.
  6. Charlotte Evans, 52, of Church Street, Kidlington, admitted drink driving on Oxford Road, Kidlington, on June 21. Had 104 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Banned from driving for 24 months and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  7. Corey Jones, 20, of Boxhedge West, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to a door and a window in Bretch Hill, Banbury, on June 10. Fined £250 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  8. Barry Williams, 33, of West Street, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to an Audi TT and attempting to damage a Renault Clio in Banbury on May 18. Given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £300 compensation and £35 costs.
  9. Jacob Powney, 21, of no fixed address, admitted stealing £46 of fish products from Marks and Spencer in Banbury on June 10. Fined £40 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  10. Jacquelynne Barron, 52, of Melton Drive, Didcot, convicted of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road at The Oval, Didcot, on January 20. Fined £200 and told to pay vehicle excise back duty of £11.67 and £90 costs.
  11. Parveen Alam, 43, of Kingfisher Green, Oxford, convicted of using a colour television without a licence in Kingfisher Green, Oxford, on April 6. Fined £300 and told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £120 costs.
  12. Jose Phillips, 52, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Magdalen Road, Oxford, on July 8. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  13. Robert Timms, 29, of The Green, Bletchingdon, admitted drink-driving in Station Road, Enslow, near Kidlington, on May 2. Had 167 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 micrograms. Given a 20-month driving ban and fined £355. Told to pay a £36 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  14. Jake Preedy, 22, of Mascord Road, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to custody clothing owned by Thames Valley Police on February 11 at Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road, Banbury. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £10 compensation and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  15. Jason Waller, 38, of no fixed address, admitted drunk and disorderly behaviour in The Oval, Rose Hill, on July 9, and failing to comply with the requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by being an offender and failing to sign on at Uxbridge Police Station. Given a 12-week prison sentence because of continuous non-compliance with the order.
  16. Qasim Hussain, 28, of Hurst Street, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence at Oxford Retail Park, Ambassador Avenue, Oxford, on May 22. Given a six-week prison sentence.
