DEFENCE secretary Philip Hammond is at Harwell this morning to officially announce £108m funding for Oxfordshire.
The money, that has been granted to the county's Local Enterprise Partnership, includes £26m for the Western Conveyance Scheme as well as money for Oxfordshire's roads.
Mr Hammond said: "This announcement represents an important step forward in rebuilding our economy.
"Using local knowledge to work out how to do it best in any particular area rather than imposing one size fits all solutions from Westminster has to be the right approach."
