IT is amazing news to hear that the OX5 Run has broken the £100,000 mark this year.
Every year thousands of runners pound the Blenheim Palace route to raise cash for the Oxford Children’s Hospital.
And this year the generosity of Oxford Mail readers means that sick children from all around the county get the help they need.
The record-breaking amount, which smashed last year’s £98,000 total, is down to ordinary people putting their hands in their pockets.
Everyone who has contributed deserves a heartfelt thank you and the Oxford Mail is proud of all readers who helped in any way.
Be it lacing up the trainers to run round the Blenheim Palace grounds, or sponsoring friends and family a pound or two for doing so, every little gesture has made this possible.
It could not be done without you.
